Tutoring
Formal & Informal Tutors
We have 2 main streams of tutoring: informal (on-demand) tutoring and formal tutoring.
On-demand/Informal tutors handle requests from grades K-12 who fill out this tutor request form. Feel free to fill out that form to request an E4A tutor for you or your child.
Formal tutors, however, handle requests that come directly from participating local middle schools in our county.
As for how tutoring works, we recommend one ~45 minute session every week, but scheduling can be decided between the tutor and tutee to best suit both of their needs. After each tutoring session, both the tutor and tutee must fill out a check-in form that will ask them to reflect on their experience. Please note that both formal and informal tutoring are currently both fully virtual (conducted over Zoom).

E4A is currently looking to onboard new members to our team of formal summer tutors. You may be elligible to recieve community service hours depending on your school. Tutors must be high school or colege students in good academic standing (as confirmed by your courseload and unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale). If interested, you may apply here.
